India was introduced to the concept of slacklining around 2010. By 2015, it was common to find 5-6 slackliners teaching themselves how to walk on a flat piece of rope (webbing) every weekend in a naturally shaded garden at Cubbon Park, Bangalore. Fast forward to 2021 and it's hard to miss the 30 enthusiastic slackliners taking over Pushpa Narsee Park in Mumbai, every Sunday morning, with lines of every length possible.
Slacklining is a great way to make new friends within a short period of time, whether you are a traveling slackliner in a new city or a first timer who wants to explore a new form of movement. So don't feel shy and use this Indian Slackline Community Directory below to connect with local slackers.
